I reached for the power cable, but a new sound stopped me. It wasn't coming from my speakers. It was a rhythmic tapping coming from inside my hard drive. Click. Click. Click-click.

It looked like Terraria, but the colors were bled out, like an old photograph left in the sun. I started digging, but the deeper I went, the more the game’s logic began to unravel. Instead of stone and dirt, I hit layers of what looked like rusted metal and fossilized bone.
