If you are experiencing missing subtitles, the fix depends on whether you are trying to them on a platform or create them as a content creator. If you are trying to view subtitles

: In the Export Settings , ensure the Captions tab is active and "Burn Captions into Video" or "Create Sidecar File" is selected.

: Click the CC icon in the bottom right of the player. If the button is missing, the creator may not have enabled them, or auto-generation failed. Try opening the video in Incognito mode ; if they appear there, a browser extension might be blocking them.
