While a direct sequel to Saw X (tentatively Saw XI ) was originally planned for 2025, production stalled due to internal disagreements. Under Blumhouse, the focus has shifted toward a "reset" or reboot intended to recapture the psychological horror and "puzzle box" atmosphere of the original 2004 film.
