The illustration shown below was scanned off a Savage factory parts list, using factory reference numbers, which are converted to factory part numbers. This is important as about all obsolete parts suppliers use ONLY factory or closely associated numbers where ever possible so everyone is on the same page.
Â
Note, for some of the older firearms,
many over 100 years old, the factories never used what we now know as assembly
drawings, but just views of many of the component parts & possibly randomly
placed
 as seen below

Marcus turned to see Elena, his best friend and the school's star theater director, leaning against the doorway.
Elena stopped the music. "Marcus, stop being polite. This song is called 'Run and Tell That,' not 'Walk and Politely Inform.' You have a gift. Stop apologizing for having it."
💡 Never dim your light or play small just to make the people around you feel comfortable. Your unique voice and identity deserve to be celebrated loudly and proudly. [S3E10] Run Tell That
He wasn't the loudest kid in school. He usually kept his head down, taking advanced chemistry notes and playing second-chair trumpet. But music was where Marcus felt alive, and this song in particular lit a fire in his chest. It was about being proud of who you are, stepping out of the shadows, and telling the world to take notice. "You ready for tomorrow?" a voice called out.
Here is a story inspired by the spirit and message of that song. Marcus turned to see Elena, his best friend
When he finished, the auditorium erupted into the loudest standing ovation of the night. Marcus beamed, realizing that Elena was right. He didn't need to blend in anymore. He just needed to run and tell the world exactly who he was.
The next evening, the auditorium was packed. When Marcus’s name was called, a polite, standard applause rippled through the crowd. The audience expected the quiet kid to sing a quiet song. Then, the music started. This song is called 'Run and Tell That,'
Marcus stepped up to the microphone, looked out at the sea of faces, and unleashed his voice. By the first chorus, the crowd was clapping along. By the second chorus, students were standing up in the aisles. Marcus was no longer the quiet kid in the back of the classroom. He was a force of nature, spreading a message of joy, inclusion, and pride.

Note that extractors for guns made prior to 1950 were
.435 wide at the top, while the later ones were .308.
