Once your project is created, you build it out using these core components:
: Enter a unique Project ID and a descriptive Project Name . Primavera P6 Professional 17.7
: In the Activities window, right-click and select Add to create the specific tasks required for your project (e.g., "Design," "Approval," "Construction"). Once your project is created, you build it
: Select the appropriate EPS node (the department or category where the project belongs) and click Next . : Select the Plan Start date
: Select the Plan Start date. You can usually leave the "Must Finish By" date empty for now.
: Open your project and select Project > WBS . Use the Add button to create hierarchical levels that organize your work into manageable sections.
: Go to the Resources tab on the left to define the labor, non-labor, or material "pieces" that will be assigned to your activities.
