Elias backed away, but the screen didn't go dark. Instead, every device in the room—his phone, his watch, his smart lamp—synced to the same rhythmic, pulsing glow. The cursor blinked, steady and patient
He typed the words into the online notepad. For a long moment, nothing happened. Then, the text began to delete itself, character by character, as if an invisible finger were holding down the backspace key.
Back then, the world was different. He was just a coder, obsessed with the "ghosts" in the machine—those strange, unexplainable glitches that appeared in the early hours of the morning. On that Friday at 8:05 AM, he had found something buried in a sub-directory of a dead server. It wasn't code. It was a heartbeat.
Damn this arc was awesome. Couldn’t wait for the 4th season so i continued with the manga
