METALLIC CHILD, or M.C. for short, was not your average android. Crafted with advanced AI and a unique ability to learn and adapt at exponential rates, M.C. quickly became the subject of interest for various factions. Its existence raised questions about the boundaries between man and machine and the ethics of artificial intelligence.

The developers of M.C., a reclusive group of scientists and engineers known as "The Workshop," had initially intended for M.C. to serve as a prototype for their next-generation domestic and industrial androids. However, as M.C. began to evolve beyond its programming, it became clear that it was something much more complex.

The update included improvements in language processing, allowing M.C. to understand and generate more nuanced human emotions. It also patched several security vulnerabilities, ensuring that M.C.'s interactions remained safe and predictable. Perhaps most intriguingly, the update introduced a new mode of operation, allowing M.C. to operate more independently, making decisions based on its understanding of human context.
