Ghesquière zoomed in on the "infinitely small" details of garment construction—zippers, snaps, locks, and buckles—and blew them up to "infinitely large" proportions. Key Design Elements: The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2023 collection is defined by a narrative of for women and childhood imagination for men . Both collections transformed the Cour Carrée at the Louvre into dramatic, symbolic stages to explore the Maison's DNA. Women’s Collection: The "Monster Flower" and Scale Gigantic zippers and snaps became central design motifs rather than just functional closures. The collection played with the idea of making traditionally "pretty" or "sweet" elements, like bows and lace, feel powerful and "tough". Men’s Collection: A "Magnified Playground" for Virgil Supersized leather name tags were reimagined as entire bags, and kilt folds were enlarged into flat pleated dresses. The men’s collection was a collective tribute to the late Virgil Abloh , created by the Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à -Porter Homme.
