In the Hunter x Hunter 2011 series, Episodes 7 and 8 center on the transition from the Second Phase of the Hunter Exam to the start of the Third Phase, largely taking place on an airship.
Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio find a hidden trapdoor and are forced into a specific "Majority Rules" path that requires a five-person team.
The episode ends as the group encounters their first major challenge: a series of death matches against long-term prisoners who are promised a reduction in their sentences for every hour they delay the examinees.
