Downloading a specific "piece" of a torrent file manually is not a standard feature of most torrent clients because the BitTorrent protocol is designed to manage these pieces automatically. A torrent file acts as an instruction manual that splits a larger file into many smaller, hashed pieces (often 512KB to 4MB in size) to be downloaded from various peers in a "swarm".
