When he rebooted, the .rar file was gone. The folder was empty. But when he looked at his desktop wallpaper, it had changed. It was a high-resolution screenshot of his own room, taken from the perspective of his webcam, with one addition: a red runner’s glove resting on his keyboard. He hasn't played a game since.
