Attempting to hide his thinning hair "on the cheap," Alan buys a product called Captain Terry's Spray-On Hair and supplements from Eastern Europe. He insists it is a "specially formulated hair-like substance" for the "active man on the go". The results are disastrous; during a date, the substance begins to drip down his face and into his date's food, eventually leading to a hospital visit to remove fiberglass from his eyes.
