Mostly silk or rayon. These have little to no stretch, so the fit must be exact.
Gently tug the fabric. If you hear a "crunching" sound, the fibers (especially elastic tops) are dry-rotting and will snap the moment you put them on.
Best for authentic NOS. Use keywords like "NOS Nylon," "Pointal Heel," or "Fully Fashioned."
