The track is known for its spacey, atmospheric intro and a signature "hollow synth riff" that kicks in around the 1:27 mark. The remake actually incorporates samples from the original 2001 recording to maintain its DNA while upgrading the production quality.

The track’s evolution spans nearly ten years of Zimmerman’s career:

Joel previewed a reworked version on Ustream in April 2011, noting he had made the original "ten years ago". This remake officially debuted live during his tour in Malaysia and the Meowingtons Hax Tour later that year.

This initial version later appeared on the self-released compilation deadmau5 Circa 1998–2002 in 2006.
