A year later, while the Warrens are away on an overnight case, their ten-year-old daughter, (Mckenna Grace), is left with her babysitter, Mary Ellen (Madison Iseman). Trouble arises when Mary Ellen's friend, Daniela (Katie Sarife), sneaks into the forbidden room in hopes of contacting her deceased father.
