He used threads of gold and silk, weaving a scene so beautiful that anyone who looked at it saw only their greatest desires. "This is the truth," he told the people. "Life is a constant sun, and you are its center." The people loved his work because it felt like a sweet dream.

Years passed, and the first tapestry began to fray. The gold tarnished, and the silk rotted, leaving the people who believed in it feeling lost and betrayed.
