151 has a choice: overwrite the simulation with the truth of 181, risking total system collapse, or delete the memory and return to his grey life. He chooses the former, and as the sky cracks open to reveal a real sun, the story ends with 151 finally feeling the warmth he had only ever seen in a shard.
